Help? My FinePix F480 Take Pictures And All.. But When I Go To Review The Pictures; They Don't Save. How Can I Resolve This Problem? The Photo's Use To Save, They Just.. Stopped Saving. It's Frustrating!!

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

You may have to format the card in the camera. Save any existing images first.

If you prefer you could get an EXIF reader to reveal and check the date when each picture was taken, and use a graphics editor to add text for the date on each image, in whatever size, colour, or position you would like. The date would then show on any prints modified in this way, however they were printed.

You may try some photo recovery software to rescue the files on your digital camera, here are some for your options.

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

CCD failed, replacement needed.

return it asap. It could be something going on with the auto focus or the CCD unit. If you can get it replaced it's easier to do now than later.

Copy your card to hard drive, reformat your memory card, and see what the numbers of pictures it gives you.

If you lower the resolution of the camera, the more pictures you can take.
