Question about Intuit Quicken 2004 Deluxe for Windows (278849) for PC
My new Quicken on my new Windows Vista will not bring up help, says I have an Internet connection problem, yet I note it uses the net to get to other information. I have enjoyed using Quicken for 15 years, and dearly want this on my new computer. but I can't get to setting up my checkbook entrys.
Please feet free to access my computer. I have ZoneAlarm so may have to OK your message. Keep up the good work
Open Quicken and go to the menu bar, Click Edit, Click Preferences to open the drop down window and select, Internet Connection Setup and Web Connect. Options will show the different settings that can be customized.

That's because Quicken 2002 will NOT run on Vista. Quicken 2005 & 2006 will run on Vista, but will have issues and script errors. Intuit will only ensure Quicken 2007 and newer will work on Vista.

Check intiut's website. There have been some problems with 64-bit Windows Vista. You didn't specify whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit operating system.
