For some reason now my usb cord when connected to computer not working. says i might have to install new drivers. i didnt have to do that when i first got the phone. using usb cord to download music into phone.

If you connect your phone to your PC and can't access your pictures then you should be able to transfer them to a memory card that you install in your phone. You then put this memory card into your PC if your PC has the slots. If your PC does not have memory cards inputs then you need a USB connection converter.
I know how you feel, i was annoyed by this too. They are not stored in the same part of memory as the files and emails, which was a stupid thing for pantech to do. there is no way to transfer them. This fature allows you to record calls while you are on the phone, so they may have done this for legal reasons
I have a plantronics 260, it does disconnect until the phone rings then it suddenly recconects, it is the same for the media player, it will suddenly connect when i start playing music. after it hais paired, does yours do the same thing with the music player?
