Yes, on your model, the front comes off first. Check the front of the dryer for two phillips head screws, about ankle high, one on each side. Remove them and pull front panel up from bottom, then un-hinge it from the dryer's top. Dryer top will not have to come off. After you take the front panel off, you will be able to take four screws out of the front drum support frame to allow that to be removed if tyou want to change a belt (or remove the drum).
