Windows 7 Upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7. hp psc 2210 is connected , but will not print

The drivers for all HP printers are available on their website for free download.

Go to the site above, select your operating system from the dropdown menu and download the driver. Some new Windows operating systems (Vista or 7) don't need downloadable drivers. If that is the case then connecting the printer to the computer via a USB cable should be enough. The Windows Update system will do the rest.

Turn the product on.

The basic driver in Windows 7 is enough for printing from a software program, scanning documents, and importing and viewing images on a memory card. Also, using your All-in-One product, you can fax a printed page.

You can't load the software that came with the printer.

HP has a Vista page for your printer. Here is a link: PSC2210 Using Vista

Basically, you need to uninstall the software AND delete the printer from your computer. Disconnect your USB cable. Power up your printer. Connect the USB cable.

The above link gives some workarounds for scanning and importing images.
