Question about Panasonic SC-AK27 Shelf System

1 Answer

SA-AK27 (AUSTRALIAN VERSION)

GENTS, I HAVE A SA-AK27 MINI HI-FI SYSTEM, IT IS WORKING FINE NOW EXCEPT FOR THE VOLUME. THE SYSTEM ONLY WORKS WHEN PUTTING OUT VERY LOWS LEVELS OF SOUND. IT SEEMS TO GET TO A CERTIN POINT AND JUST CUT OUT, AROUND 40DB ON THE DISPLAY(NOT THE DISPLAY COUNTS FROM 64DB TO 0DB AS IT GETS LOUDER).

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS OF WHAT MAY BE CAUSING THIS PROBLEM, CHEERS

Hi everyone I have s Panasonic Sa-AK27 that is stuck on standby mode, the thing is it has been on the box for the past 5years after my dad pased on he was the owner,so now I decided to use It

Very often when left for a long time the Electrolytic Capacitors in the power supply section dry up and cause it to get stuck in standby. The only cure is to replace all the big capacitors in the power supply section.

FI have a cb radio from Hong how do Ichange frequency to suit Australia. The radio is Qishi fm transceiver, QS-368S.Is it possible to change crystals,if they still use crystals

There are versions of this radio on different bands, some versions will not work on the Australian 477MHz CB channels even if reprogrammed.

Reporgramming the radio requires the software and a programming cable. Ask you radio supplier if the software and a cable is available.

If the radio is a version that will work and you manage to reprogram it it may work but will not be legal to use on the Australian UHF CB system because it is not type approved.

I need a part # for the volume controle on an Aiwa

The "volume control" on your Aiwa is in fact what is called an "encoder". These can fail. They work in concert with the microprocessor to control the electronic volume control IC. Yes this part can be replaced. Try calling Sony with your model number and request the part number for the volume encoder. They should be able to help.
