This thing is a piece of ****, I just bought it and I got the P2 error, to make matters even worse I had to go BACK to walmart after I bought the printer to buy the darn printer cable that they couldnt bother to include with it...so after thinking I was saving money spending $30 on the printer instead of getting the $50 one I wound up spending that anyway on the darn $20 cord! This thing is **** and is going back to walmart in the morning!!
SOURCE: what is error code p2
Have a MP240 that is flashing P 2 also. Manual says that any P with a number may require service. Paper jammed while daughter tried to print something. I'll probably dig into it and see if I can see what the problem is. Likely cheaper to trash the noisy thing than to get it repaired. It was free when we bought a laptop.
