Replacing the protective panel

I broke the protective panel plaing my kids' Wii. Pioneer website doesn't seem to offer this part. Any suggestion for removing this part if I do find it?

Re: Replacing the protective panel

Unscrew the screws at the bottom front of the unit below the speaker. Pull the bottom out about 1-2 inches and pull the cover down about one inch, then slide to the left one inch which should free the unit: be careful as wires are attached. Unclip connections. Then unscrew the left and right trim: slide them down or risk pulling them out and slising the off to the side. Unscrew the top mount screws as you did the lateral trim. Here's the tough part. Slide the top trim a couple inches to the right and it'll free. Good luck!

Re: Replacing the protective panel

Im going to be replacing mine. There was a blog someplace on how to replace it, but I cant find it now. Be sure to only remove the front panel (speaker cover) and not the back because the mirrors will break.

Main power light turns on but i have no picture or sound

Take a closer look at the power board fuses. There is a fuse numbered 106 a little ways away from the rest of them. I have this same model and got it working long enough to diagnose a bad flyback transformer by replacing this fuse with one from Radio Shack. At some times, I could put in a new fuse and have the set work for a few weeks. The flyback transformer is available from for around $60.

Pioneer Pro-700HD Mirror Broken

Thanks for trying… was actually the website that I originally tried ordering from. I feel lame for not including that tidbit of info on my original post because I didn't want to give that site a bad rap. After a bit more reasearch I discovered this site: they carry the replacement for only $120 with free shipping and with only a few clicks I purchased it via PayPal. I am currently awaiting delivery and will post again if for some reason it doesn't work out.

Need to put in projector mirror in pioneer elite pro-510hd. the old one broke when i removed the back off. So I purchased a new one, now i need to know how to put it in.

the tech sent me the service manual and i was able to see the picture that had the clip on the front of the tv, so i removed the panel from the front. this allowed me to insert the mirror from the front.
