You either have a faulty cartridge that needs to be returned to your distributor that you purchased it from. You also need to double check the cartridge location to ensure it was placed in the holder correctly. Also be sure to ensure that you purchased the correct cartridge.

I have a Canon MP210 printer After replacing the ink cartridges, the B and C amber lights are flashing alternatively. I have checked the inks are inserted correctly, switched everything off and on and...

Did you refill your cartridge?

This is very important to find out considering what Canon system has.

If you used refilled cartridge, sometimes cartridge can't be readable.

Why? that's what Canon made originally.

As for the prevention, pls.....unpluge the power first before you take out the cartridge from printer.

In this way, you can at least prevent what it happens...

If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK".
Not only they are easy, but also the printing quality is good.
For your better understanding pls check out my youtube video.

And will see how easy ink refill can be done.

After refilling he black an coloured cartridge, i always get the error E 5 and the lights B and C are flashing orange. I already changed the cartridges several times.

Using refills and non-canon inks can cause issues with the printer. You can damage the print head and fill up the waste ink tank faster then needed..

Best of luck..

Refilled my black ink but my color ink is empty so it wont print

Apparently I just had the same problem and I managed to fix it! Click on the OK button on the printer to ignore the low ink level error, then you'll be able to print and scan.

All in one MP210

This worked for me: hold down the stop/reset button til the indicator light near the on/off button starts cycling.  The color ink orange light remains on but I can still print black and white and scan as normal.  Good luck!

I have a new canon mp210 printer ink is low i bought new ink to replace old their is no ink cartridges in printer. When i look at the pictures to load new ink and put it in alarm light is flashing

Even if the ink level is low, you can continue printing.Press the paperfeed knob for 5 seconds. inklevel indicator will stop now.
Sometimes a new (or refilled) cartridge is not recognised correctly.
When one color is really mt, stop printing and replace inmideatly the colorcartridge.Printing or scanning without the 2 cartridges in place is impossible.

I want to refill the ink cartridges (black 30 - colour31) myself....how do I do it?

Hi there,
Filling is easy - but messy. I use No 40 cartridges for my pixma ip2200.
For the black cartridge, carefully remove the label. Drill a 2-3mm dia. hole in the depression in the top. With a syringe fill, using about 10ml of black ink. Plug the hole with a suitable bung and away you go!
You will however lose the ink level indication as it is not a genuine cartridge - but that is unreliable anyway.
Don't refill more than a couple of times as the foam inside the case eventually perishes and all the ink runs out.

Whilst the cartridge is out of the printer give the jets a wipe with a wet tissue. This is usually quite effective in removing dried on ink.

You can do the same with 41 colour cartridges but it is a bit more tricky locating the correct place to drill.

Good luck
