Question about Samsung DVD-V4600 DVD Player/VCR
I just started having a problem with my DVD player. I insert a working disc, the screen says "loading disc" and then it says "no disc." I have tried multiple discs so I know that it is not the disc. Also I do not hear the DVD player spinning. It just worked fine yesterday. Unfortunately, the DVD player is about 12 months old and just a few days past the one year warranty. What can I do? Same problem with my Samsung DVD-V4600. NO DISC is displayed. Known good disc that worked before. Tried unplugging for 20 to 30 sec., then re powering; no luck. Checked 1.6 amp glass fuse in player. That's OK. Cleaned optic lens with soft brush. No help. Suggestions? Dennis
Yea... that happens sometimes also... my dvd is also old.... Though I don't know how long I had it... my dvd doesn't work but later on, it does Cause I put a diff. dvd in it's place and it works fine.... so i think it might be dirt or something.....

Replace the player because laser lens is probably burnt out.
