Acer Orbicam Colour Problem!

Hi,

You can download the webcam drivers for Ace Aspire 5100 from the below mentioned website:

Select the Model name of the computer
Select the Operating System
Click on Drivers
click Bison or Suyin driver and download it and instal it on your computer.

Here is a suggestion:
There are two software entities involved – the camera Drivers and the OrbiCam application itself

The new driver and a new version of webcam application (below)

The correct files to download are:
Acer Orbicam driver (Bison)
Acer Orbicam Bison utility 1.0.0.13
These can be found here under the MS Windows Vista drop down menu:

You need to download and install them both.

ok u can do a system restore....that will take u to date it was working fine..so go to system restore and select the date it was working fine..

Is it recognised in device manager ?
If it is,
There are 3 type of orbicam for Aspire 5100.
Try to install the applications for orbicam one by one.
If installing application don't work, Try to reload the windows using disk or using alt+F10.

if it had worked befor i suggest you do a system restor which anti-virus are u running

you should be able to get the drivers and application from acer.

select notebook, aspire 5100, and scroll down to acer orbicam

you will need to go into the control panel, system, device manager, and check under imaging for acer orbicam, double click it and it should tell you the manufacturer (bison, logitech, suyin)

grab the appropriate driver and camera applications

remove the installed orbicam application via add/remove programs and reboot if necessary prior to installing the new drivers and application.

if this doesn't fix the issue, please post a follwup and i will see what i can find out.
