I HAVE AN SANSUI DTV2798 TV TURNS OFF AFTER ABOUT ONE MIN

Check whether the input selection is set to A/V.

Since the TV comes On, like you mentioned on your post above

it could be from a failing power supply or from other circuits.


Could be dried or bad capacitors , or just maybe cold solder joints.

The DTV2760 is 26in wide, 23in high, 20in deep and weighs 81pounds. Try to find a DTV2798 at Walmart. It's almost the same tv with a better warranty.

DTV2798's are sold through Walmart. See if they will exchange it for you since it was a gift.

Go into the menu and make sure the SAP is off.

Yes. It takes a while to scan for all the channels.
