I didn't do anything, I just changed the song.

My blue/red vertical lines disappeared after I held down the menu button for about a minute and the player turned itself back on. I was back to playing music without loosing any songs.( And I'm not even close to be an expert?) Thanks anyway

I figured out that if you hold down the power button for about thirty seconds it'll power down.

It worked for me, anyway.

Good luck!

Blue screen

Remove your back plate and slip the battery out for a second. Should clear it right up no problem. Next time make sure to close programs that might be using the device before unplugging it.
