Question about Kenwood KDC-X891 CD Player
Can't get the screen to stay off of demo mode who can it to stay where i set it?
The demo mode is a feature that is a default setting in the menu so when a retailer is putting it on display it will attempt to sell itself... it is also a feature that can be turned off in the menu,, some brands have to be in standby mode or off with the ignition key on in order to adjust certain features. On kenwood radios some buttons have multiple functions.. if you push and release the button it does one thing but if you push and hold the button it will do something else. the best thing to do is play around with it or better yet read the instruction manual... these are not apple pruducts.. they take some thought and guidance to use.. if this doesn't help. go to a local kenwood authorized dealer that installs the product and ask then to turn off the demo.. might as well have them set the clock too.
