My KP-65xbr10w doesn't have any blinking lights on the front. I found that both 7a pico fuses PS6103 and PS6104 on the G board (power supply) are blown. What would cause this? I have no blinks and the remote diagnostic check (display, 5, vol -, power) will not work.
If you have no indication of power you may have lost all of the voltages to your power supply, including the 5 VDC standby voltage. I am not sure if you can get a new G board, but you should be able to get the individual components that you need. I would look for the cause of the power supply failure first, and I think I would look at your Horzontal Output Transistor. I am thinking it is Q501, Q401 or something like that. I have repaired many of these and the HOT is most likely the problem. A shorted HOT would cause the power supply fusables to blow and the entire set would appear to be dead.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

I could not find a transistor that resembled Q501. Would the HOT be the transistor with the biggest heat sink near the flyback on the D board?
Originally when I got this tv it was giving a code, either blnking 9 times or continuously. I replaced the blown 6.3a 125v fuse (F6002) with the largest fuse I had at the time, whch was a 5a 125v fuse. When I turned the tv on the blinking stopped and then 10 seconds later the fuse blew. I got some 6.3a 250v fuses at Radio Shack, but the tv hasn't responded since the blown 5a fuse.
