Re: read error

Try using the "format" option from the set-up menu. That should wipe everything off the card, and get rid of any "bad" data that has accumulated over time. If you want to only erase selected images, try the erase option again, but make sure to wait until the green light comes on before proceeding.

My ge create camera will not turn on.

You are right, the Create camera's don't allow anything put in. I'm not sure you did charge it on the computer or with the power supply.
GE is not generous with the manuals either. They only give a quick reference. I can't find the error code you are talking about. Does the camera tell that on the screen or is that a message you get, when connecting it to the computer?

I suggest you try charging it again on the power supply and after that try to recover the pictures to your computer. When you managed to put the pictures to the computer, you can make memory free, by deleting some. Perhaps that will solve anything?

I have a video image I am trying to review and when I scroll to it, I get an error message that reads, "This motion image cannot be played". When I try to delete it, I get an error message that...

I think the easiest thing to do is to put the memory card into a card reader on your computer, copy everything off of it that you want to keep (excluding the problem files) and then try to delete the problem files using your computer. If this does not work, I would reformat the memory card, as these file seem to be corrupted. I would also suggest getting a new memory card, because they do go bad, and could corrupt pictures and videos that are important to you.

When i try to do anything on my camera i.e.(take picture, delete picture, or crop picture) an error message pops up reading "card protected". How do i fix this?

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

File error/polaroid camera polaroid t1031

I have the same camera and that happens to mine sometimes. That happens when something wasn't right when you took the picture. If you press the delete button while it has the "file error" on the screen, it will delete the file and then you can continue use with your camera. Sometimes when this happens it freezes the camera so you have to turn it off and back on, then try deleting it. I hope this helps you!!

Picture error

I would recheck all of my settings on the camera. Go to the menu and check everything one by one. Your card may be damaged also. Do you have another card to try? Do you have your manual? If not you can to to to download a new manual specifically for your camera and it may address this issue. Good luck.

My experience in this issue is that you should never put too much trust in an SD card :-/ It seems to me that all cards are prone to fail once in a while, and my best advice is to keep spare ones handy. A dedicated SD card reader is a good thing, too...
