I have a CU515 LG phone. I have had it about a month now. Today I removed it from the Factory Charger. The inside screen went haywire when I turned it on. Now all I have is a blank white screen. I can make and receive calls but I can not see anything on the screen including access to the menu Richard

Richard it sounds like your LCD screen went bad. If you bought your phone from your service provider, it will be under warranty. Call them!! They will replace it.

If the phone is not under warranty, you will need to replace the LCD screen. You can find a replacement LCD on ebay, I have provided a link directly to the screens on ebay for your convenience:

I found the lcd screen on a very popular web site and it cost me 15.00 that included two small tools to help with the repair. A screwdriver and a Pry tool. And shipping was included. I figured that was worth a chance of fixing the phone. I may just have had "dumb beginner's luck" but I was able to do the repair and my phone now works like a charm. The phone itself has two small screws under the decorative plastic cover at the top of the opened flip phone. (just above the chrome piece above the LG logo. Just gently pry that loose and you will see the small screws.
At the bottom of that same area you will see 2 round dots one in each corner. Once again gently pry them up with a very small tipped tool. Mine popped off very easily. That is the four screws that hold the cover over the lcd screen. You will once again have to gently pry the cover off after the screws are removed. It sort of snaps into place to secure the cover over the lcd screen. After you pop the cover off you are ready to remove the screen. The speaker is attached via two small wires at the top of the lcd screen. I took my soldering gun and removed the two wires (my phone were red and blue wires) but that is the only soldered wires to deal with. At the bottom right hand side of the lcd was a connection, I guess one might even call it a plug. Just lift up on it a little and remove the broken screen. then slip the new screen into place. Make sure you reseat the small plug at the bottom and very gently without applying to much heat attache the speaker to the two small wires we talked about earlier at the top of the screen. Oh yeah, the screen comes shipped with protective plastic covering over both screens the plast needs to be removed prior to inserting into place as you begin working with the new screen. Anyway then all you have to do is put the cover back on, gently snap in in place, then put the four screws back in and replace the decorative covers. and you should now be back in business. It took me about 10 minutes and like I said earlier cost me 15.00. I hope this helps someone. I'm not a great writer but I did find this task very easy and extremely cost effective.
