Bosch Dishwasher not letting in water

Please help. My Bosch dishwasher S8K1B (SMS 2702/09) is not filling up with water. Any ideas what the problem may be and how I can fix it?

The float switch may be stuck in the up position which shuts the fill solonoid valve off. you should be able to find the float switch under the lower dish basket.

- If the float switch is not stuck the fill solonoid valve may be bad and will need to be replaced.
