hi my philips 42pf5521 has got bad in light dark scenes the blacks go squared and different its got worse with my new sky hd box the picture is better with out the hd box but i have like bad whites

as well and the telly had a replacement board put in a few months ago please help

Cant find specs on your Model. If it is HD 720i or 1080i both will work. But then again the Sky box may convert the HD to composit, which makes ordinary old TV sets look fantastic. On a HD set they look even better. don.t worry it will work.

I just got the sky hd and i have a 32" samsung tv and the reception is crystal clear would defo recommend it!!

Have you connected it Via HDMI? if the screen is still connected via Scart then that is the problem.
