Need to change my answering machine on this GE model from Spanish to English

We accidentally changed our phone from Spanish to English and do not know how we did it, but now need to get it back to English and we've tried everything we can think of. We have had the phone for several years and no longer have the manual to it. Please help!

1. Press the flash/program button until “1ENG 2FRA 3ESP “ shows in the display. 1ENG “ is the default setting. 2. Use the cid/vol (+ or -)button or the handset number pad to enter your selection. 3. Press flash/program to store selection.

Change answering machine from Spanish to English

On the GE models believe itor not extremely simple: press and hold the "skip" button on the base until desired language is spoken. Had the same problem and after searching the web and being on hold for 45 minutes, I could't believe how easy the answer was!

To resolve this issue hold down the skip button for 2-3 seconds and it will change back to English.
My phone is mfg by Thomson, go to their website for the manual, just key in the 5 digit model number, you do not need to type in GE. Hope this solves your problem

Just as the other answers that were just have to press the skip button. Just make sure that you press announce on the cradle...not on the phone...then when you hear the voice in Spanish just press and HOLD the skip button until it changes to English. Good Luck
