No water in door

I'm not getting any water out of the tap in the door. i've taken the hose connection apart where it goes into the bottom of the freezer door and when i push on the switch in the door i get water out of the hose. but it doesn't make it to where you're supposed to fill your glass. i've run a wire up the hose and it stops about 6-8 inches from the end of the hose. is there some kind of valve that is in the door and stuck closed just before the end of the water line?

I emptied the door and then warmed the whole thing with a hairdryer... worked like a charm! I concentrated with 'heat' (I had it set on warm) on the upper part of the unit behind the dispencer and then finished it off by heating the bottom of the inside of the door - thinking that heat rises and it would, in turn churn through the pipe.. then I turned the thermostat to off - like you would if you were doing a full defrost - came back in an hour and did one final pass with the dryer - I now have water after a year of putting off calling the repair guy...

No there is not a valve there.i've recently been running into this problem.what happened is when they make the door, the outer and inner is laid flat.then from the bottom, tubes are inserted into the bottom and expanding foam is shot from the top to the bottom.sometimes a cap is installed after to make it look good.the problem is when they miss a spot it can make that line freeze solid in the door and you will never get it to your glass.try defrosting the fridge for 24 hours(unplug it and open the doors).if you can get water out then and then it stops again, the only solution is to replace the door

Amana front load washer NFW7200TW stops in the middle of a cycle and I can’t get the door to open

if it has water in it the door won't open, you can try unplugging it or flip the breaker, wait a few minutes and then put power to it and see if the door will open,if not pull the drain hose out of the stand pipe or sink, get it as close to the ground as you can and with a shop vac suck the water out through the drain hose,or you can unplug the machine remove the top panel and on the bottom of the door switch there's a round ring, you pull it down to manually open the door.go here to see.
https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Door-Lock/WP8182634/1094190
you see the round ring on the bottom grab it and pull it down and that will release the door,if it's not drainiing you'll have to take it apart and get to the pump, remove the hoses and see if anything is stuck in the pump or hoses, also you can remove the plastic hose that goes to the pressure switch and blow through it to see if soap is blocking the opening where it connects to the tub.blowing down into it will hopefully open it up if it's blocked if not remove it and clean out where it connects to tub or stuff in hose with a paper clip.but puling down on door switch will manually open the door.

Hello, I have a 95 Tacoma 4x4, 2.7, 67k miles. I'm having problems with no heat and want to replace the thermostat. I've searched the internet wanting to be sure of where it's...

It probably is at that bottom hose connection. I just replaced a water pump and t-stat on a 2004 Mazda van with a ford v-6 engine (3.0L), and the thermostat housing and thermostat was on the bottom hose from the radiator. This one had no radiator cap, just the recovery tank with a pressurized cap fitting. I think they call it a degas bottle system-something like that, might be relevant or not. But anyway, if you have the housing on the lower hose, don't be surprised if that is where the thermostat goes, some coolant systems are like that.

My Jura Capresso E 8 is stuck in open tap filling system. I open tap it says filling system, it says close tap, when I close the tap it goes back into open tap. Float valve looks fine, water is moving

Open the tap with frother spout off. This happened to mine and I took the frother tip off and opened tap with tip off. Water filled and I closed tap...Machine returned "Ready". I heated water in microwave for three minutes- placed frother tip in hot water and all kinds of gunk came out. Lesson learned- Do a thorough cleaning of frother by immersing it in very hot water at least once monthly- even if you don't use it

Getting f20 error code, how to check flow meter operation

Check for stuck socks or something just under the door seal at the bottom of the drum. Check filter for blockage and all outlet pipes. Check the pressure switch hose for any holes as it may have rubbed on the drum and created a small hole in it. Make sure flow meter is level and not at any angle.

How How do I fix my broken water line that goes in to the freezer door to the water dispenser?

The line going into the dispenser is a 5/16 line. You'll have to remove the front of the dispenser on the door to get access to the line to unclip it. Once you have that done you can pull the line out from the bottom. At this point there are a variety of different unions, compression fittings, etc. to splice the line. After that you just feed the line back through the bottom of the door, clip it back in place, put the dispenser back together and your done.

My whirlpool duet washing machine is making s strange hum and appears that the water is entering slower. I've checked the water taps and don't see anything different than before. Any suggestions?

Hello,

In addation to checking the actual taps, also check where the hoses connect to at the rear of the washer for sediment build up in the filter screens...also while hoses are disconnected from the washer while checking the screens also place hoses in bucket and turn on taps and see if good water flow is coming from the hoses/taps. If screens are clear and water flow through hoses is good the water inlet valve the hoses attach to would need to be replaced.

Water staying in the bottom of the dishwasher.

WEll, there always needs to be some water remaining, but, you may have a blocked drain system, this means hoses, connections, screens. Needs to be taken apart and inspected to find.

Ice Maker connection

Yes , the hose runs from the valve in the rear where the water line hooks up then under the unit to the lower corner of the freezer door up into the door to the water and ice in the door. you must have the hose together at the freezer door conection if it has been taken apart. This will fix your problem , let me know how it works.
