Lg vx9900 question

I hear there is a way for me to download my own music for ringtones to my enV as long as I have the data cable. Do you know where I can get the software. I have a cable that we got with my wife's Venus. Is the same true for the Venus?

When I press SYMBOL then 4 (for the $), a pre-set amount of $30,000 is entered on the phone.

Re: lg vx9900 question

Or you could do it an even easier way where if you have a sound you want to use as a ringtone saved on your phone, you can go to your sounds and press options > send and just send it to your own number from your own phone and then when you recieve the sound it the message you can then precede to press options > save as ringtone

Re: lg vx9900 question

You cannot load ringtones through the data cable. you need to send them to your phone as an attachment from an email address. from your email address attach what ever sound file you want to use as a ringtone and send it to (your 10 digit phone # once you receive the message you will have to press options and save file. make sure to save the file as a ring tone. some phones will only let you save certain types of files as ringtones so you'll have to experiment with that. this is true for most all vzw phones

Sounds to ringtones

Try this:
Under Get It Now, choose Music & Tones; then choose My Sounds.

Highlight the sound you want to use as a ringtone and send it to yourself. When you get the text message, choose the option "save as ringtone". Now you can use it as a ringtone.

LG vx9900 cdma sofware drivers form pc to cell phone connected.

You may also need the verizon music sync package for that phone, it comes with a cable to connect it to the P.C. The CD will have a program that syncs music. Just install it because the drivers are built into the software and you have to have it installed in order to use the drivers. Once this is installed, download BITPIM ( google it, its free ) or find some other converter program that can convert to 3gpp files for you, then you can creat and add music, ringtones and pictures and convert video file onto the phone for free.

Remember to have the verizon software installed or the PC wont be able to detect your phone.

Good luck

LG Env Phone and Ringtones

I can Help. First of all, dont pay a cent to verizon, i have had issues with them for a while about overcharges. Anyway...

Download a program called " Bitpim " Its free, or " ImTOO3gp " i got IMToo3gp from " the pirate Bay . com, using a bit torrent, the bitpim is from a site that downloads straight to P.C.

Hook your phone to your P.C. Via Cable. What i did is i bought the verizon package for there VCAST music sync. It has the P.C. Drivers for your phone but there built into the program so you have to install it, but dont actually use the program. once thats installed, hook the phone to the P.C. and you can use Bitpim to download all the data from your phone, the " ImToo3gpp also works but instead of hooking the phone, you take your Micro SD, put it in the bigger holder that should have come with it, get a USB media port that fits the SD card 9 got mine at wallmart for $13. once you connect it, it shows up as another drive on your P.C. like a Pin drive. Then you can covert the music and put the destination folder as the SD's music folder and the program automatically converts it. It pretty sweet and helpull. i was able to drop MP3's and i was able to make ringtones. You have to have a little working knowledge of converting files. The ringtones use MPEG 3 or 4 files and you have to put them in your " MY_SOUNDS" folder that the phone created on the Micro SD, dont drop them in the music folder or youll get ringtones playing in your songs list.

I was able to Make 3gpp2 Files of the ventuire brothers and have movies on my phone also but its tricky.

Hope this helps.

Muziq lg phone

download tonethis 3.0 from the internet. You can use mp3's to have as your ringer. The first one takes awhile to get on your phone. You just save the txt as a ringer when you get it, and you can also send wallpapers and also animated.
