I have the same problem, constant flickering, glossy faces. I just bought a new lamp hoping that was it but it wasn't. When you replaced the light engine, did that solve the problem and is it something you can do yourself? How much?

hey all...just to let you know, I had noticed a post that said the individual prior to getting or ordering new parts, he took the tv apart from the back, and cleaned.

My husband spent the better part of the day, vacuuming out and blow drying on cool all the dust and such. after doing this the picture was worse, HOWEVER, we noticed the flashing was gone. SO, he took it apart again, and this time, very carefully took apart the compartment holding the color wheel. He took out the lens, cleaned it with a lens cleaner cloth. Took out the color wheel, very carefully cleaned the wheel, cleaned out the whole inside of that compartment, put it back together, and VOILA!!!!!!

BRAND NEW PICTURE EVEN BETTER THEN WHEN WE GOT IT.... no lies, no problems, it was extremely time consuming, but I ccan't describe the difference.....UNBELIEVEABLE and no spending a grand on a part.

Don't hold me responsible for any problems, but this just worked for us, and my tv is NO LONGER FLICKERING,, NO MORE LAVA LOOKING COLORS, NO SHADOWS.

JUST CRISP! WOO HOO, I DONT HAVE TO BUY A NEW TV... yet.

* If your are printing color photos on a Glossy paper you must chose the paper type from Media Type in the Printing Properties while giving Print command. If you don't know what is the type of your glossy paper then just select other glossy paper from the given options. f91a3a39-5f37-45c6-9bca-21ac453f79ef.gif

I have a Vivitek RP51HD41-A TV. The TV keeps turning off and on. The color and sound is fine. I have replaced the lamp and this has not fixed the problem.

If its a DLP it may have a color wheel which could be your problem (the colors will change etc)

Color wheels move at high speed and if slow down set will shut down.

The wheel if there will face the lamp. If often if failing will make a high pitched whine or a fan like sound.

My Smasung projection TV keeps flickering, also every hour or so the screen turns to a green flicker. I have to unplug the power cord and that temporarily fixes the problem. How do I stop the flickering?

The tv colors wheel is dying, replaced the tv colors wheel, will solved this problems.Hire a tv Tech.to change the tv colors wheel,it pretty hard to change the colors wheel in this tv.Because u require take out many machanical parts before u even can come to the tv colors wheel itself to change it.

How do u put the print paper in facing up or facing down printer photosmart c4750

If ordinary paper it does not matter. If photo paper then put it in the feeder tray glossy side down and one sheet at a time as glossy paper tends to stick and causes paper jams.

Screen flicker can also be a bad dynamic black unit. Do you hear a low pitch growl when it flickers?
