Machine does not start programme, it did fill but sat there in cycle did'nt advance even when reset did nothing emptied by hand did not fill again if i advance by hand just rotes back to origional position
Blocked filter. unblock filter under lower front panel( right hand side )
unsrew lid over pump clean filter
turn machine off for 5 mins
Think I will follow suit
We gave up and disposed Ariston and bought Trixbendix or something... we'll see if it last longer.

WE bought our machine a1324 2003 APR and now it has same problem. Can't find the solution. It reset it it self when you turn it of and waited until I could open the door and then re set it. But now nothing helps. As well it started to keep loud noice when it was spining so we think it have bearing problem as well. I have the margherita 2000 AWD12 advantage and it filled but then stopped and the dial just clicks around with the light flashing until it gets to setting 8 and stops. If you reset it it does the same.
Yhis happened once before and the engineer reset it without getting his tools out - with a 'magic' sequence of button pressing that he did not reveal.
Anyone have these magic codes?
