Re: Stopped working

Why doublepost?

Any AMD socket A board which supports your cpu, memory and disk type will do. Instead I would go for an newer and faster combination of board/cpu.

Dear anilprathyus, the Intel D845GVSR motherboard you are currently using is now obsolete and doesn't support Windows 7 Operating System. Intel has stopped developing any windows 7 driver for some motherboards and your motherboard model belongs to that group.

To know, which motherboards are not considered by Intel to to continue Windows 7 support, please click the following link:

Windows 7* Driver Availability for Discontinued Intel® Desktop Boards

That's the real problem with your motherboard and the operating system.

Hope this helps,

Monitor stopped working, works with other computers, it has happened before with this motherboard, but would start working again without having to do anything.

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your motherboard to your hard drive make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

I have intel d865 gbf motherboard.I have installed windows 7. Graphic driver of the motherboard is not working. Messege displaeyd is " This driver does not suport your operating system. Please help me and...

Intel has no plans to develop a Windows 7 driver for your older, discontinued motherboard.

You may wish to use the latest operating system that IS supported to continue using your D865GBF board.

Cd rom drive sr243t1 series-is this item still in production

ACER stocks parts for "discontinued" laptops, but they are VERY expensive.

Take your computer to a qualified technician, who can replace the CD-drive with an less-expensive "generic" replacement, and perhaps add DVD read/write capability.

Without a visual inspection it sounds like the PSU is damaged, it is possible that the standby power is reaching the motherboard but the main circut is bust. i would replace the PSU with one of the same watt rating.

Be aware that incorrectly installing a power supply can cause damage to other componets or yourself. If in doubt see professional advice
