Re: My minolta sightseen camera wont take pictures?

The blinking zero would indicate that the film has not loaded but the cartridge is in place. The camera won't do anything when this occurs. Try opening the film door and load the roll again

Classic polaroid camera don't know how to tell if it works

All film pack contain a 6v battery pack. It sounds like this one had only enough power to charge the flash and turn on the green ready light. There may not be enough power left to take the picture and eject the film. You will need to try a new film pack which will have a new battery.

Put new batteries it won't power on. been sitting not used for multiple years. bought new film but it doesn't seem to load since it won't power on. minolta qt si camera

Did it sit for years with batteries in it? You may need to clean corrosion off the battery contacts. Even alkalines and rechargeables can leak.

My minolta xd11 wont click & take the picture

Start by setting the speed selector dial to X or O. See if the camera will release in either of those. If so, You likely need new batteries. Make sure to clean the contact in the camera and the cap area that touches the battery with a pencil eraser.

I have a Minolta Maxxum 5000i. It is dead

Check to see if there is a button battery in another compartment. Usually the "big" battery is for the flash and some other functions but there may be another one that serves basic functions like aperture and shutter operation.

No power to my minolta x570

are the leds lighting in the finder? if not remove batteries and clean contacts with pencil eraser to remove all traces of battery corrosion.
if the leds do not light then there is a problem with the flex circuit. get an estimate before repair as there are no new parts available for this model.

Bad Minolta Maxxum lens?

Oddly enough, the camera and lens are working just fine now - or at least they appear to be. I'll shoot some more when I have good lighting and 1-hour them tomorrow for the results.
