Question about Kodak Easyshare M753 Digital Camera
Hello, The camera I listed above has a bent lens tube, can this be repaired and is it worth what it would probably cost?
Most of the time, if you can get a sharp knife to SLIGHTLY dig into the part of the tube that is bent, you can CAREFULLY wedge the tube back out. (With the camera OFF) then when you turn it back on, the camera will reset the lens and all will be ok. I've done this with three cameras so far.... ALL involving 13-year-olds dropping them!!! What is it with 13? Unfortunately, MY 13 year-old, smacked the 2.5 inch screen, and the crystal broke... Other than a $50 part on e-bay, I'm having trouble finding a REASONABLE priced replacemement...

If the camera will be sent it to the authorized repair center, the repair cost is arranged according to model, not issue
the repair cost of M753 is around $60-65 + local tax + kodak's shipping and handling
www.kodak.com/go/itg to arrange repairs - you can also see the repair cost from the website and other options if you think it's not worth it
