Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
I have copied some 50 new mp3's to my daughter's Sansa. When I access the music file, I cannot see these new file sanywhere. However, when I plug the device to my PC, the appropriate My Computer window shows they're actually there. The device property menu also reads "190 music files", but only about 140 are playable.
How do I make "hidden" files visible AND playable?
I had the same problem as well, another solution to this problem is go to My Computer, right-click on the song file that wont play, and go properties. From there go to "advanced" and mannually type in the name of the song and the artist

Hello, i had this problem as well. I deleted the files and ran an MP3 convertor program. For some reason, not all MP3 files appear to be compatible with the Sansa. Try downloading Switch from www.download.com which is freeware and is a very small and useful program. I tried this with invisible tracks and tracks that appear as "bad track" as well.
Hope this helps.
