That should not harm the system as long as you flush the system out when its hot. Failure to remove the oil will swell the rubber hoses and the will fail.
have you checked for prpoper oil level in oil reservior.if its ok den you shuld remove air from cylinder, bleeding nipple is provided at calliper, the time you open the bleeding nipple oils comes out, same time you must keep feeling oil in oil reservior . and it gots its pressure after some use
You check the brake fluid for the front brakes by turning the handle bars so that the top of the brake fluid reservior is nearly level, usually all the way to the left. Remove the two screws and take the top off the reservior. If you add any fluid, make sure you put the correct fluid in the reservior, the proper type should be written on the top of the reservior cover. I'm pretty sure it's DOT 4. Do not mix DOT 4 and DOT 5.
To check the rear, find the reservior. On the older models it used to be on downtubes on the front of the frame, right in front of the engine. Same here, make sure you add the correct type of fluid.
Water reservoir state, is it full?
If not refill it with proper coolant, run it again with open cap until the water bubbles out, turn off motor, fill the reservior again then close the cap. Let it cool for 15 minute, start the bike and see if it still overheats.
If it does then the coolant is not circulating as it suppose to, check for any indicator of leak or oil or water in your reservoir. Note of caution, never open your reservoir when it is HOT.
Good enough?
Hello. If you haven't done so already ,remove the bar and chain and make sure the slot in the back aluminum plate lines up with the oil outlet hole if so ok. Use a thin tool (utility knife works) and scrape inside the chain groove of the bar to clean it out.Make sure the oil inlet hole in the bar is clean. If it doesn't work after doing this you may have a cracked oil tank, disconected oil line,or worn out oil pump.
