This will vary depending on the model of your phone. First off, you need to ensure that you are using a bluetooth enabled phone.

On your bluetooth headset, hold down the power button down until the power light stays lit. This may take 5 seconds or more. Now your bluetooth is in pairing mode.

You will need to enter the settings and tools menu. From within that menu, you need to find either "connections" or "bluetooth" and select. Make sure bluetooth is enabled. There will be an option to add a new device.

Back to the phone, you want to hit "add new device". On certain models of phone you additionally have to select "search for devices". Your phone will recognize any headsets in pairing mode. When it is finished scanning, allow the phone to add your headset. It will ask you for the device pin code. This pin code will be 0000.

If you're having trouble getting your bluetooth headset into pairing mode (i.e. it won't show a steady light when you hold down the call button), reset the bluetooth headset. You can reset it by turning the bluetooth on, plugging it into the charger, and unplugging it after 5 seconds.

You may need to "restore the original factory settings" to the headset. Do this by holding down the call and volume buttons for 10 seconds. Once it is reset, depress and hold the on button until the light is steady blue.

On some phones - I know it seems crazy, but you have to "turn bluetooth on" in order for it to keep working. It's a setting under connections on motorola phones. They are the ones you have to watch out for for the most part.
also, when it askes for a pairing number, as before, it will be 0000 on all phones and all bt headsets (but not all computers, or car kits)

I had the same problem pairing an H550 with a BlackBerry Curve. Here's what worked for me--

When you are trying to get the H550 into pairing mode, if you cannot get a solid blue light, have your phone in the "search for bluetooth" mode, and as soon as the H550 light starts to flash blue, then start the phone searching for the headset. Hope this helps.

There are a few steps you have to go though to pair your Motorola H555 headset with your cell phone, but they're relatively simple instructions.

1. You must make sure that your Motorola H555 Headset is in pairing mode (the blue indicator light should be on).

2. Open the main menu on your phone and go to Settings.

3. Go to Connection>Bluetooth. If you've linked your headset with your phone b4, just click on Motorola H555. The phone will locate the headset and you're done!
If you've never linked them together, please go to step 4.

4. First time pairing phone with headset--Go to setup handsfree device. The phone will locate the headset and you're done! You should hear a tone in your headset that indicates your headset is ready to use!

I lost its manual and now dont remember how to pair it

what did you buy in 2008? information you've provided is as ambiguous as asking which clothes do I presently have on; can you tell?
pairing has to do with bluetooth devices, NFC devices, etc.
to pair a bluetooth device simply navigate to connections or applications or tools on your device. locate bluetooth link and select either power this on or locate the make discoverable link and select yes. attempt to pair with other bluetooth devices around.
Another option to try is to select add device. if any passcode or authentication is required accept and/or pair.

User manuals free downloads

Hi. I may be able to help you, but I will need more information. Specifically, which device are you trying to pair to your iPhone? I assume you're talking about Bluetooth, right? You can use Bluetooth devices with your iPhone, including headsets, car kits, stereo headphones, or an Apple Wireless Keyboard.

To specifically answer your question, I would need more information about what you are trying to pair with your phone. Note that the documentation that came with your device (headset, car kit, etc) should contain instructions. Is it a Plantronics that you're trying to pair by any chance?

Also, from the title of your post, it appears that you're trying find free manuals for your iPhone. You can access the iPhone Manual from this site: http://support.apple.com/manuals/
If that link doesn't work for you, just go to www.apple.com, click on the Support tab located in the bar at the top of the screen, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and look for Manuals under the Resources column in the rectangular "Support" box at the bottom. From the new page that opens up, select "iPhone User Guide -- For iOS 7.1 software." You can download the manual or simply view it. It is very long! Bluetooth Devices are located in Chapter 3: Basics, page 35. BUT, the manual doesn't really tell you anymore than what I've listed below.

Here are some basics, if that is all you're needing:

Turn Bluetooth on. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Connect to a Bluetooth device. Tap the device in the Devices list, then follow the onscreen instructions to connect to it. See the documentation that came with the device for information about Bluetooth pairing. (For information about using an Apple Wireless Keyboard, there are different instructions.)

iPhone must be within about 30 feet (10 meters) of the Bluetooth device.

More basic instructions are here:
Return audio output to iPhone. Turn off or unpair the device, turn off Bluetooth in Settings > Bluetooth, or use AirPlay to switch audio output to iPhone. See AirPlay on page 34. Audio output returns to iPhone whenever the Bluetooth device is out of range.
Bypass your Bluetooth device. To use the iPhone receiver or speaker for phone calls:
Answer a call by tapping the iPhone screen.
During a call, tap Audio and choose iPhone or Speaker Phone.
Turn off the Bluetooth device, unpair it, or move out of range.
Turn off Bluetooth in Settings > Bluetooth.
Unpair a device. In Settings > Bluetooth, tap next to the device, then tap "Forget this Device." If you don't see the Devices list, make sure Bluetooth is on.

Since it was already paired with your cell phone it should show up in your phones bluetooth device list, it should be as easy as navigating to the bluetooth settings in your phone (usually found in tools) and selecting the Voyager 520 and selecting the connect button. Give it a try as I have to reconnect mine periodically also.
