You will need to buy a special adaptor which connects from the I-pod to the TV using either component or composite connectors. Check what inputs you on your TV & then any quality audio shop or if there is a specialised Apple shop will supply it.

Soon as USB is connected to computer - It freezes up and will not repond until the ipod is reset, using menu and center button. Freezes up also, when IPOD Power Adapter is connected for charging battery....
check your usb drivers are upto date
using the latest usb driver. its your pc that is at fault
not the ipod try connecting to another pc.

Are you trying to hookup thru USB? Unless its ipod compatible it wont work (and its not). Your only choice is to buy an RCA to mini headphone cable and play it thru the input of your choice.
