I keep running into the problem that states that there is no internet connection on my PC when I try running the internet thru the wireless router. When I run the internet directly thru my PC, it works fine.
I have the same problem.

I just loaded the Dynex wireless router on to my laptop but it doesn't work. I apply a security name . but it shows no wireless servie available.

hi,

how exactly have you set the network up.

it should look like this:

modem connects to the internet through the phoneline.
modems ethernet cord connecs to the internet port on your router.
another ethernet cord connects to one of the routers ethernet ports and connects to the computer

Try turning everything off, PC, Router, and Modem. Then turn on the modem, then the router, then the pc. Your modem needn to connect, then the router will be assigned an ip address, then your pc will acquire an ip from the router.
