The print dosen't appear on the paper

Tough call on this one. There are a lot of problems that could be happening. I'll presume you have an inkjet printer, since those are the most common. Of course, you want to make sure you have ink and that the cartridges aren't so old that they're dried up. An ink cartridge that is WAY out of date isn't likely to work. Hopefully you're working with good ink cartridges, and we'll presume that they are. Try these solutions to make your printer go:

1. Run the cleaning cycle. Usually accessed through a menu on the printer, computer, or both.

2. Clean the contacts...use 100% alcohol that can be purchased in the paint department of larger stores like Walmart or Home Depot. If you have nothing else, use cotton swabs, but be sure not to leave any cotton behind on this or the next step.

3. Clean the print cartridge jets using that same alcohol. Foam swabs are best, but harder to find. If you absolutely have to, you can use 50 or 70% isopropyl, but the other part is water...doesn't evaporate as quickly.

4. If your print head is separate from the cartridge, it gets a little weird here. First you can remove the print head (your printer manual will tell you if this has a a separate one), clean it with the alcohol. If this fails (and in my experience, it usually does), take that print head and put it in hot water in a container that's expendable (it's going to change color)...let it soak for a few hours, overnight if possible. Swish it around in the may have to repeat this step depending on how much ink is still left in the print head. When it appears that most of the ink has been cleared out, shake as much water as possible and let it dry for a minimum of 24 hours on a paper towel or something that's (again) expendable and won't bleed through to the surface you're putting it one, just in case more ink leaks out. You may have to repeat the print head washing steps a few times for the water to be clear. Reinstall the printhead and cartridges. Run a cleaning cycle...hopefully it'll work by then.

Ok I downloaded some torrents and I didn't know at the the time but also some free ware. Well after my computer started down loading Trojans n viruses I started deleting all of my games and all files to...

Please go to your Start Button and left click once. If using Vista or W7 a small search box will appear at very bottom left under all the program stuff.

Type in "System Restore"

Please follow the prompts, going SLOWLY, and make sure you arrive at the place where you can "Restore to Factory Settings". If your computer has a recovery partition and has not been reformatted since delivery, you can find it and start over.

If my instructions have not produced the desired result, please settle into a place of calmness and use this post of mine to formulate different combinations of words in search boxes in your browser.

Soon enough, you'll find the path to original factory settings and get a new start.

Kind Regards,

Where is the expansion slot for the RAM for ASUS Notebook A2400H?

The manual is incorrect. Memory is under keyboard. There is a small hole to the left of the right speaker. insert a paperclip vertically into the hole and apply a slight amount of pressure at the same time sliding the plastic section to the left. It should be obvious at this stage. then fold back keyboard. 2 memory slots are located under the plate near the middle of the unit. Specs say max of 2 x 512MB modules. they are PC2100 DDR266 200 pin SODIMM. If there is someone else reading this maybe they can tell me what the slot is for under the smaller plate to the right of the memory compartment.

Ink supply level

There is usually additional HP software provided on the CD the printer came with which which is capable of indicating  the ammount of toner left int he cartridge.
If no such software is provided, then you can only tell when your toner level is low by a flashing light on the printer itself.

Hope this helps!

Konica spooling endlessly, not printing. How to reset?

Call tech support! That's why these people get paid. Sites like this wouldn't need to exist if they did their jobs correctly!

My cpmputer does not show how much ink is in my cartridge and hgow many pages left tp print

If you loaded the full suite of software that came eith your printer it may give you an estimate of how much ink is left. Most inkjet printers do not have the capability to show exactly how much it left, they calculate remaining ink from the number of pages printed since the ink was installed. Even $15,000 color copiers must calculate the amount of toner left but the complexity of the data the copier looks at gives an extremely close estimate. All of this depends on what percentage of the page is covered. Most toner and ink usage data assumes 5% coverage meaning an 8.5" X 11" page completely filled, excluding margins, with 10 point text. If you are printing pictures, graphics, bold face type, etc... the coverage could be extremely high. Hope this helps. Post if you have more questions and I will be glad to help.
