Have you adjusted any audio output settings? It sounds possible but if you haven’t and it’s a problem that around out of nowhere then I’d suggest just being comfortable with auxiliary sound like the sorrowing aound yuh have or picking up a good used one from your local Craigslist or FB Marketplace Page. I’ve picked up several name brand 55”-60” TV’s for around $150-$200 and it’s like that all day every day if you don’t mind a used one- I certainly don’t, some of the best ones I’ve had were used and still going strong! You may even be able to trade something, Bebe hurts to ask. Good Luck my Friend and Let me know if I can Help Further! See message below.
I need to know the quality of the speakers on the TV. Try unplugging it from the speakers on the TV and plug it into the souround sound speakers only and see if it plays differently. Double check your sourround sound and makes sure you did not reverse a wire.
There is a problem with the tv, I don,t have a LG tv, But the tv i got use,s a optical jack for the audio hookup to a Amp or Reciever, I just have one optical cord hookup to my preamp end it works perfectly,
Hello,
To get sound out of your surround speakers, first off go through the receiver setup and make sure that is correct. Also, usually the best soundfields to use for sourround sound is PLII Movie or dolby digital. Next , make sure the source you are viewing is capable of outputting 5.1 sourround sound. Lastly, it is a good thing to remember that sourround speakers are only intended to reproduce sound effects. You certainly can override it so that all speakers play full range audio, but that is not the intention.
Good Luck
you will have to connect an audio output from the tv to the sourround reciver. you should have some audio output on the back of the tv and a corresponding input on the samsung ht c555
read your manual well and double check all your connections, make sure the remote is working, check the battery contacts in it too. If you haven't got a manual, obtain one.
