Question about Gateway MX6453 Notebook
Hi you need to hold down the function key (FN) and press the number lock key (num lk). hope this helps

OK try this. I had the same problem and got to thinking about it. There isn't a number keypad on the laptop so I just turned numlock off and now it's a keyboard again. Go figure :)

Just hold down fn key and then hold down num lock. it'll work. it worked for me.

On my laptop, i press the Fn key and the scroll lock key to disable the number lock function
