Question about GE GSD3800G - Multiple Color Built-in Dishwasher
Good day. I have a GE profile dishwasher model in sibject line that is
not working. I am a retired Electonic Engineer and sadly have no wiring
diagram to help work through the bug.( none on panel of machine
). I have replace the stop check valve that is on the finial
output as was suggested for a C3 error code. This has not helped. The
unit powers up that goes to a C7 after I reset that the unit defaults
to the C3 code. Some time it powers up ( that is digital display only-
NO operations active ) then show the C3 fault code first thing.
I am looking for any suggestions along with a wiring diagram / schematic if available. If not can you tell me if all relays / survo's / etc operate on a 110 VAC bases or are there step down voltages that operation the units functions.
I thank you for your help and look forward to NOT washing dishes by hand...!
Sincerely MR. Clean hands.
The wiring diagram for GE dishwashers is usually found under the dishwasher, take the bottom panel off, then look for a envelope about 3"x5" up against the bottom side of the floor of the dishwasher, right under/behind the front edge. If its not there it makes servicing it tougher. C3 code means the drain sensor is not functioning, C7 code means the temperature sensor is not functioning.
As to the voltages used, I would only know that by looking at the wiring diagram (which I do not have).
