If it a whirlpool washer less then 20 years old then there is no belt. it is a motor couplier. tip washer back and look between motor and transmisson and see if the couplier is broke or worn.

My Maytag top load washer makes a squealing noise during sensing only. There is no noise during washing or during spinning. It is about 3 years old.

A squealing noise during the sensing cycle of your Maytag top-load washer can be caused by a number of factors. Here are some common reasons and steps you can take to resolve the issue:
  1. Loose belt - The noise could be caused by a loose or worn belt that needs to be tightened or replaced. You may need to remove the front panel of the washer to access the belt.
  2. Idler pulley - If the idler pulley that keeps tension on the belt is worn or damaged, it can cause a squealing noise. Replace the idler pulley if necessary.
  3. Bearing - A worn bearing in the tub can cause a squealing noise. Replacing the bearing will typically require disassembling the washer.
  4. Drive motor - If the drive motor is worn or damaged, it can cause a squealing noise. Replace the drive motor if necessary.
If you're not comfortable diagnosing and repairing the issue yourself, it's best to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for assistance.

How to Change belts on dc33

The belts are in the clutch. You will need to disassemble the clutch to replace the belts. It's easier to replace the entire clutch. First remove the brushroll, then remove three screws and the cover over the clutch assembly, remove the belt around the motor shaft to pull the clutch from the nozzle housing. It is wise to replace brushroll if it's worn or frayed. I have a tool available to make putting the brush roll back in easier. I also have belts, clutch, brushrolls and filters available if needed.

Vacuum problem

Most vacuums have a belt that drives the brushes and most problems are caused from the belt being worn out and slipping or completely breaking in half. Also could be dirt up in there and jamming the belt.
Most likely you need to replace the belt and when you do give the vac a good cleaning in that area.

Brush belt on my Mach 7 won't tighten

This is a Hoover? Could be either a broken idler arm lock ,or the V belt is worn out. Check the side of the belt. If it is shiny, the belt is worn out, because there is no longer any "teeth" to the belt.Recommendation on belts is that both should be replaced at least once a year.If the idler arm lock is broken, you will have to remove the cover to gain access. There are seven screws and two click locks to remove, before cover can be removed. The part is less than $1.00,

Need to replace belt?

It should have a serpentine belt. You'll need to locate the spring loader tensioner, lift up or push down to release the tension, with a ratchet or wrench, and remove the belt. Make sure there is a belt routing diagram.

The belt on the drum has come off is it worn or is it the pulley needs replacing

your belt is worned ou already sir, replace i sirif the csing of your machine is designed in two piece, you can replace it by your own, conentrate from the back remove all screws attached including from top rail, there are at least 9 pcs of screws there, aafterr removing those screws push the backcover backward and you will have the full access in replacing the belt. If it is not the design it is only a back cover that you have to remove from the back, remove all the screws then you have your full access to replace the belt

How can i stop my AC belt from making noises when my AC is on

The reason your belt is making a noise is either your belt is worn and needs replacing or the belt tension is out of adjustment and needs checking and adjusting.
It is a good idea to replace it anyway specially if the belt has small cracks on the inside.

HP Design Jet 3500 cp Replacement of Carriage belt

very carefully, if you can find a belt replacement. i would be surprized if you can find the part. this printer has been out of production for quite some time. remove the left cover, remove the right cover, (you need torx drivers #'s 8,9,10,15,20,25) on the left side, remove the encoder strip, lock the belt tensioner, remove the screws to remove the belt tensioner, remove the carriage assembly, don't forget to remove the trailing cables, make sure you replace the belt exactly the way it came off the carriage assembly and reverse the process to put it all back together. if you can find a certified repair person who can find the parts and has the tools, that might be the way to go. this repair should cost $300-400. if the repair person knows what they are doing. hope this helps.

Dyson vacuum cleaner DC04

I would suggest you invert the vacuum and remove the plate covering the spinning brush assembly. You should check the belt located on one side of the spinner brush to see if it is worn or broken. Also remove anything wrapped around the brush that could be affecting it. Ensure the brush is free to rotate and seated correctly. If the belt is worn or broken, or the spinner brush is unable to spin, replacements are available from a licenced repair facility. I hope it helps! Good Luck!
