This sounds like a carb problem, inside the carburettor there is a main jet and a pilot jet, the pilot jet controls initial accelaration (pulling away from stopped) it sounds as if this could be getting blocked, its possible to clean yourself but alot of patience and time is needed, along with a little mechanical experience and delicate hands. be sure to choose a good carb cleaner (vinegar works just aswell but do not leave in for more than 12 hours). Whilst disconnecting carb from vehicle be sure to label all pipes and wires so that you know where they belong. Submerge whole carb in your chosen substance (making sure all parts that arent metal, and the main jet and pilot jet, are removed from the carb first) and leave for overnight. Clean the jets out very delicately, use a fine needle to push through the holes being careful not to enlarge them, reattach all components and replace carb into vehicle making sure the correct pipes go in the correct places.

Hi, based on the details you gave concerning your car, i suggest you check your fuel pump and fuel filter. They are the most likely cause of such problems...
