Make sure you are using the correct version of the Print CD. If you had a older Epson printer with this program remove it, and install the one that is on the disk.
If you are operating on a Mac and it has automatically updated to the latest OS, remove and reinstall the program.

I had the same problem and had to clean the nozzle tubes. After cleaning the tubes, printer worked great again.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Epson CX3810 - not printing in blue - can't find ink status
The usual reasons for ink failing to get to the paper are either a
blocked/faulty print head, or an empty/faulty cartridge. If you have
been using the printer regularly without a long disuse period, then
suspect the cartridge first.
You say the cartridge definitely
has ink. The ink level indicator may well be misleading you. The
printer determines the amount of ink left in the cartridge by counting
the number of ink "shots" when printing, head cleaning etc. This
information is stored in the chip on the cartridge. Thus, it is not an
actual measurement of the ink left, but an estimate calculated by
subtracting the total shots from the original full ink quantity. This
estimate can sometimes be grossly in error, usually due to a cartridge
replacement not being carried out correctly, a cartridge that wasn't
filled properly etc. Alternatively, the cartridge could be faulty and
not delivering ink even though it contains some. The only simple way to
check this is to replace the cartridge with a new one. You can re-use
the original cartridge later if it turns out not to be the problem, but
make sure you tape up the feed hole and breather channels to stop the
internal sponge drying out.
If the cartridge is not the culprit,
you can try soaking the print head to dispel blockages caused by dried
ink in the nozzles. Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head
moves out of its parking position, pull the power cord out of the back,
or turn the printer off at the mains. You may now carefully move the
print head by hand over to the left hand side out of the way. Look
inside the print head parking area on the right and you will see a
small rubber cup that comes up to cover the print nozzles when the head
is parked (to stop it drying out). Use a syringe or dropper to fill
this cup with head cleaning fluid or distilled water. DO NOT USE TAP
WATER. Carefully push the print head by hand fully into its parking
position so that the cup full of fluid comes up over the print head. Do
not turn the printer on at any stage in this process. Leave this for at
least 24 hours, then turn the printer on and try a head clean/nozzle
check again. If you get any cyan ink on the nozzle check, then there
is hope! Repeat the head clean process 2 or 3 times, but not more;
leave for 24 hours for air bubbles to disperse then repeat. If nothing,
repeat the soak process once more. If still nothing, post a new comment
detailing what you have done and the results.
