Two thing you can try. One follow the instruction on the link below. You'll need to scroll down the page till you find the correct light flashes for your reset.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00476294&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1146331&lang=en
When you do open the rear clean-out door take a few minutes and wipe the rollers off with a lint free water dampened cloth.
If the above does not clear your trouble, click the link below & download the latest driver software.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1146331
You can return to the same link & let Hp Automatically check to see if the latest driver is installed correctly.
Hope this helps!

Paer prints half the PAGER AND THEN JAMS ... I

The paper must be hitting something to cause it to jam. Take the drum/toner cart out also the paper tray. Unplug it and hold it upside down and see if something shakes out. Do not do this over carpet. If that does not do try a test page. look at the leading edge for dings and bends. If you find a bent spot on the leading edge thats where the problem is. Its almost always a small piece of paper Steven 818-888-0006

I removed a paper jam. red light is still on (not flashing).

There is probably still paper stuck in the paper path, this is very common. What happens if you load it with paper and press the test button?

Paper Jam

It sounds like during one of these jams, a piece of paper was probably left over in there and maybe stuck "out of sight" in the paper path causing the paper to pulled to one side.  Look closely, my guess is that it is only a small corner of a page that is stuck in the path.

Paper Jam error - red light flashing, but no paper jam!

There may be some tiny shard of paper stuck in some inaccessible part of your printer. Examination with a bright light source may help you find it.
