I have a new acer aspira 5534 and dont have any cam....why?

    I dont see the web cam in my laptop.

    Assuming cam means Camera or Webcam, it was most likely a "sham" or a misleading ad that you bought it from, please elaborate on this and i will try my best to help.

You can choose the option of Scanners and Cameras wizard in control panel. there you will see the camera just click it will on then you will be able to shoot the picture and video.

I have an acer aspire 5534 and webcam wont work
acer aspire 5534 does not have a webcam..some models of acer aspire do but acer aspire 5543 does not. I have the same laptop and I am trying to figure out the same thing. The acer aspire 5543 has a webcam cover where a webcam can be put but it does not actually have a webcam itself.

the problem is that the cam will not show up unless you plug the laptop in,,,there is a problem with the battery,,,,once you get the cam to show up,,then you can unplug the laptop ,,,,it took me a long to time to figure out this problem with the acer 5534. go to acer .com to get a driver...choose the suntin driver for win 7

You probably have more than one version of adobe Flash player. Uninstall the ones you don't need and you'll be able to use your Web Cam
