This is a classic example of a moron consumer giving an "inappropriate rating" to a perfectly good answer, it`s obvious that kamlesh_soul didn`t even try the solutions that Darklord posted for him, This "inappropriate rating" should be removed immediately by Barak or somebody at Fixya, If this issue isn`t addressed shortly by the Fixya administration I`ll be leaving this site, BMW Rider

Hey ,, well it can be a few things the most common one is memory faults..

to free up some memory
click start then run and type msconfig
click on startup and disable some of the programs that start when your computer start that you dont need. I only leave my spyware and antivirus eunning i disable all the other..

or the second most common is is a corrupted playback program

in this case, remove the program you are using, then dowload and install a new one..

In the even you try the above and it doesnt work, reply on this same tread and we will seek alternate solutions :)

cheers

I bought a 50" Emerson TV, since day one the volume cuts out for 1-2 seconds every once in a while. Frustrating while watching it. How can I fix the TV to stop blanking out the volume?

Check the speaker/s first. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

Audio cuts in and out on a lite-on dvdrw shm-165h65

sounds like a codec problem during the conversion from avi to dvd. Try a different burning software program. Try this...instead of burning the conversion...try watching it instead...on the computer...if the volume problems exist there, then it is a software issue...

There's an intermittent high pitched noise from sharp aquos lc32 le600e

Sounds like a transformer or choke that has loose windings and they are resonating, you can pull the back and put small amounts of silicone on those components or replace the power board

a specific answer would require a specific make/model number; maybe something about the speakers and has it ever worked right; what sources do or do not do it?

42in insignia tv im trying to watch a movie and there is no sound how do i get it on

Try going into the Audio Settings and set the digital audio to PCM.

If the movie you are trying to watch is the only movie this happens with, try pressing the audio button on the DVD remote to change the audio stream.

You should also set yout DVD players audio output to PCM as well.

Hope this helps!
