I changed 4 of the cartridges in my Epson R300 and he now the printer is showing that they are full but the colours are not printing. The only one printing is yellow --the only cartridge that I didn't have to change. I've done nozzle checks and head cleanings--no success.

Same thing has just happened to me. I use my R300 all the time, never had any problems. LC and Y were low so replaced them with Epson cartridges. Now these colours will not print at all. Done 3 head cleans and nozzle checks but nothing. Any solutions?

Could be a clogged nozzle for those colours. You can get special cleaning cartridges that contain a mild solvent that should be able to disolve the dried up ink to get things flowing again.

In that case, could be dud cartridges. Are you using Epson or compaitbles? Not all cartridges are created equal ;) Does the status monitor show the new cartridges are being full?

Best of luck getting to the bottom of it :) Give us an update when you work it out... Never know when it may happen again to someone.

After cleaning my printer it still not prints the right colour it is mostly green no lights are flashing.I have an epson photo r300 printer

Forgive me for asking this, but roughly speaking about 80 to 95% of problems involving ink or toner are resolved by the following:
Are you using a factory new ink cartridge supplied by the manufacturer of the printer?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.

We use our fax-1840C machine for black/white only, never for colour. we have installed both b/w and all 3 colour cartridges, but quite soon the fax says the (unused)colour cartridges are empty or dry and...

try by buying a new cartridges like the one you use before and clean first the print head to remove the smodges. see also you manual for compatibilites and instructions. ill find another solutions if this wont help you.

Print color different than on-screen color

Doe sthe nozzle check show ANY gaps? If not the n the colour difference is most likely down to the colour profile on your system in the software you use.

See if the software or printer vendor offer a colour profile for your OS.
