Do not reformat the card. Use the cable to transfer the photos between the PC and the phone. if you reformat, you will lose the data.

I formatted my micro sd card on my Galaxy S5 like it told me to do, but my computer keeps saying that it needs formatted.

Different devices do not always recognize SD cards formatted by another device. To preclude losing your information, transfer information using a cable. If you reformat on your computer, you may have to reformat again to use in phone.

Motorola SLVR won't format my memory card.

I am not sure this will work, just a suggestion

Try inserting the micro sd card in the larger sd adapter that will allow you to put it into your computer reader. Try formatting it there instead

I had the same problem. First u must use a 2gig or less memory card. Some 4gig cards will work but u will have to find one on a try it till it works basis. As long as I use less than 2 gig of memory on my transcend 4gig card my cell stays on.

Did you format this card with your pc first, you should not have, is the card under 2gb,the phone can not handle a 2g card or over,,
now if you did not format the card with your pc and it is under 2g,you can now try to format card with your phone, it will not be able to use the card until it is formatted with the phone,,if this does not work then try formatting the card with pc then try it again with phone.

You might want to check on in the support section of your phone and see if the cell phone can recognize a 2gig card. It may only see 1 gig and lower.
