Re: My webcam will not load unto my vista windows...

I checked on some reviews and it seems that you need to find a "driver" that supports Vista...

Review Site

Get Vista driver download here and install it into the computer.

How do I hook up my new laptop webcam to the system

If it is an external web cam , it should have a USB connector . If so , simply plug it into your laptop from your desktop..(after windows is fully loaded and your computer is in a "calm" state .) Your computer should recognize the web cam and will attempt to load drivers for it . If your web cam came with a installation disk , install it first . Select installation or setup from the CD menu and follow the directions to install the web cam .

My web cam dont work ,its works on wind xp but when i instal wind vista so web cam dont work

It may not be compatible with windows Vista. You may have to Google the manufacturer of the webcam and look for information to see if it is indeed compatible. If it IS compatible then you may have to find the vista drivers for it.

Hi there!

Can you install it at other operating systems like XP, 2000, etc.?

Please check your webcam manufacturer's website and verify if it supports Windows Vista. It might be a driver compatibility issue.

Hope this helps!

Web cam

I think ur laptop webcam driver not installed properly. If ur laptop have windows vista operating system then do these steps.
Goto Start - Programs - Recovery Manager - Recovery Manager. In that recovery manager, click on next. Its shows the Software reinstallation page.Click on next button two times. Its shows the software lists.Select the webcam software and click on next button. After reinstallation completed , u restart laptop and check it.
If ur laptop have windows XP operating system then u uninstall the webcam software through Add/Remove program and restart it.After restarting ,Reinstall the web cam software and check it. If u doesnt have webcam drivers then u go for nearest service centre and install it.
