Groups can contain any
number of contacts, and even just a single member, so you could, for
instance, have one ringtone for family members, one for work colleagues
and one for your partner. To create a group, assign a ringtone and image and then select a group's members, follow these instructions:
From the main menu, highlight Contacts and click Select.
Highlight Groups and click Select.
Click Add (or if you have already added groups, click Options, highlight Addnew group and click Select).
Enter a name for the group and click OK.
Highlight the group's name in the list and click Options.
Highlight Group details and click Select.
Highlight Group ringing tone and click Select
Highlight Open Gallery, click Select, locate the ringtone in your gallery and click Select to apply.
Highlight Group image and click Select.
Click Add, highlight From Gallery, click Select, locate the image in your gallery and click Select.
Now highlight Group members and click Select. Click Add and your contacts list will open. Highlight the contacts you want to add to the group and click Select. You can add as many contacts as you like to each group.
If you want to add contacts to an existing group, highlight the group's name on the Groups screen, click View and click Add to display your contacts list. Highlight a contact and click Select to add them.
your contact address must be realigned. You must put all your family and friends into special groups which is in the menu - contacts.. Now if you take options there is a key for assigning ring tone for this group, so selct and assign.
Do the same for the business and post them to the said groups when you set up the contact list.
In fact you can sub divide to different groups with diferent tones so as to identtify when the call comes through.
the contact has to be in the phone memory, go to your contacts menu, scroll to groups, assign a name then put that person there then scroll and assign a ringtone to that group. not all phones support it
Address Book Contact List There are two ways to enter Contact List. 1. Tap the [ ] in the idle screen then tap Address Book - Contact List. 2. Tap the [ ] key in the idle screen. This menu allows you to save and manage contact address information. The Contacts’ functions allow you to add a new address or search saved contact addresses by name. New Contact This menu allows you to add a new contact address. You can enter contact address information including name, phone numbers, email addresses, group information items, memos, ring tones, and image (photograph). Favorites This menu allows you to have your own favorite contact list. You can add and delete it. Caller Groups This menu allows you to manage group information. By default, there are 4 groups: family, friends, colleagues and school. You can also configure a ring tone for a group so that the group ring tone sounds when a call from a specific contact address within that group arrives and there is no ring tone configured for the specific contact address.
there should be a volue control in the phone section of the setup icon turn that up
then if you didnt assign a ring to your groups, try asigning a different ring tone to each group and make sure the ring tones have a loud sound by playing them using the phone.
other than that, it shoud be a hardware problem with the speaker that needs to be replaced.
If you set the profile ring tone to OFF. Then select a contacts' number and assign it a Ring Tone. When that contact calls you the Ring Tone you assigned will ring.
If you select the same Ring Tone for all your contacts in a group they will all sound the same when they call.
Or select the same ring tone for a profile, but cancel the Tone you assigned to the contact(s).
On many phones, and this sounds like one, you can assign entries in your phone book to different groups (e.g. friends, family, work, etc) - and then set the phone's ringtone (and other behaviours) depending on which group the caller's number has been assigned to.
A starting point might be to investigate whether all the numbers which display this odd behaviour seem to come from the same group. If they do, then you need to have a good look at all the settings for that particular group.
