Acer laptop aspire 4710z config my notebook have problem

Do not install the webcam driver supplied from acer. If installed, uninstall it. Let xp use its own driver, it will work in explorer.

ITS VERY SIMPLE U JUST CALL A TOLL FREE NO GIVEN IN UR VARANTY CARD THEN THEY WILL TELL U HOW TO CLEAR THE PROBLEM WHILE U CALL U SHOULD HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION &WINZIP SOFT WARE THEY WILL TELL A SITE & WE HAVE TO DOWN LOAD A SMALL SOFTWARE & AFTER INSTALING THE SOFT WARE U R NOTE BOOK WILL WORK PROPERLY

i have a acer aspire 4710z. This laptop can not open the display but the system unit is working normally. i can not see the display but i can join the external monitor i will see it process. Pls let me know how can i repair it.Pls reply to this email thanks. pyeisone1988@gmail.com

bt u dnt need to call to the acer toll free no...
just uninstall 1st camera/webcam in acer resourse dvd,n then ull shut down ur laptop properly..
its nt a virus..its sumthin lack of technology in acer..
i gusee the 1st camera is (chicony)...jst do it 4 1nce n ull gve thanxs 2 me...

, hi, ya its the O/S issue, run in safe mode and restore it to previous working check point, if it has created one, or simply run the XP setup, on the first options screen where it asks u for 3 options, just hit "enter" again later it will ask u if u want to install it on previous OS, there u punch in "R" (repair), this will reinstall the OS keeping ur installed applications and settings intact.. let me know..

There in not a problem boss. i also faced the same problem after re-installing xp.

Simply download a windows XP HOTFIX exe from microsoft website of ask for it from acer support centr from delhi.


They will mail u the exe on ur id.

simply install and restart every thing will go fine.





Actually this is due to the drivers of webcam.



Just install Bison Drivers or else let windows have its default drivers.

when i install acer webcam my laptop do not shut down and after uninstalling it shut downs properly.
