Should last a long time as long as the keyboard is being treated in a rough manner. I've had my keyboard for 3 years now and it still works fine.

Alot of times, dust or dirt gets in the keys and that can cause problems. You may want to use a can of air and blow underneath the keys to get extra dust or dirt away from it. That can cause keys act funky. Also any kind of liquid can cause problems as well.

Hello, I put my key in the ignition and when I turned the key it just kept turning and the vehicle did not start. I dont think it is the battery b/c the lights, windows and radio worked. I could not remove...

It may possibly still be the battery. While the windows and lights, etc. may have worked, those require a small output from the battery. The same problem happened to me when I left my trunk open for a long period of time. The engine requires a much higher output from the battery, so while your inside electronics may work, the battery may not have enough charge to start the engine. Connect a battery jumper box to the engine and again try to start the car leaving the box attached. If it starts, keep the box attached for a few minutes and allow the car to run. The battery gauge on your dash should also indicate whether or not your battery has enough juice.

Ti 85 wont turn on, batts good, tried to adj contrast , still nothing

Are you sure the batteries are in correctly? They alternate negative/positive, positive/ negative and so on. The first time I put the batteries in, I didn't have them in correctly. You tried adjusting the contrast. Just try adjusting upwards. Sometimes it takes a little for The Ti 85 to come on or adjust right. The Ti85 is an old calculator and, may not work any more. I had my Ti89 for almost 20 years so, they are pretty reliable. If nothing has worked take out all the batteries including the small one in the back. Texas Instruments say's " leave them out for 5 to 10 minutes." I had to leave mine out for over a 1/2 day to get it to work.

Here is the battery reset procedure for the Ti 85.

Try a new set of AAA batteries.
  1. Adjust the contrast by pressing and releasing the [2nd] key followed by pressing and releasing
the up arrow; repeat as necessary. To adjust or lighten the display, use the down arrow.
  2. Remove one of the AAA batteries. Press and hold the [ON] key for 20 seconds. Reinsert the
AAA battery and then turn the calculator on.
  3. Remove all of the batteries including the round lithium battery for 5 minutes. After the 5 minute

  4. period, reinsert all of the batteries and turn the calculator on. Adjust the contrast if necessary.

Just keep trying. Sometimes they can be a pain.

The camera seems to drain the batteries very quickly when not in use, example I put in new batteries and 4 days later they showed half full on the screen. They were the AA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.

Be sure that your Ni-MH batteries have a high enough capacity to hold their charge for extended periods. The cheaper batteries are just that. If you have not tried this, get some new Energizer 2300 milli amp hour batteries. These should perform much better for you. If that does not solve the problem or you don't need to get new batteries, check to be sure there is not a continual contact that works like keeping the camera on all the time. I have seen this on another fix suggestion. Hope this helps. Keep looking for solutions posted on the web.

How can i mastereset on n73

hey there welcome to fixya

Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.

First try these

*#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default
*#7370# - Reformat your phone

If the above two don't work then try these.

Firstly take the battery out for 5 minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference.

Then try the "3 finger deep reset" which is depress these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone whilst keeping those same three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the Phone memory that is not part of the ROM.

i hope this information was of great assistance to you thankyou for using fixya please remember to rate this solution thankyou

Ignition cylinder won't turn

I had the same problem in a 94' trooper. Basically the Ignition lock cylinder is wore out and you need a new one. Mine wouldn't turn past lock and no matter what I tried it wouldn't turn. You can go on auto zone and find the part, mine was about 61 bucks, it comes with keys and the ignition cylinder. The deal is that to get your new ignition cylinder in you have to get your original turned to off or acc I can't remember. You'll see with your new ignition cylinder that when you turn the key there is a button that can be depressed but only when the key is turned past lock and it also won't depress in start. First, disconnect battery and wait like 30 minutes. So, what you do is take a screwdriver handle and place it up against key and take some pliers or something and beat on it a couple of times, this gets the key in deep enough to where you can eventually turn it. I swear it will eventually turn, once there, take off the top and bottom plastic covers off steering wheel/unscrew electrical wires on back of ignition cylider and other side and you know the button I referred to basically you have to depress that with key in acc or off and it will slide out. If your having trouble finding the button look at new ignition cylinder in comparison to old one and you can see where the depressed button is on side closest to you, you'll see a little hole up on the side of housing that you can depress.

Canon Poershot sd300 digital elph. It just wont turn on period.

Try this: with the battery installed and battery door open, take a pencil, fine tip screwdriver, or anything long and skinny and push the tip of it into the little nub circled in the picture here. There's a spring inside that little nub... keep the spring depressed and try to turn on the camera. If it works, then either a small piece of plastic broke off the battery door or the nub got broken/pushed in too far for the battery door to trigger it. Try using a dab of hot glue to keep the nub pushed into the down position.
