When booting, the writing on the black screen should give you a couple of options akin to

Press F2 to edit boot options or
Press "Del" to enter setup. (bios)

You can use either, but you need to set your CD/DVD disk drive as the first boot option.

During boot there should be a notifaction at the bottom of screen saying something like "Press Del for bios and F10 for boot menu" or something like that with other keys.
