you may try leaving the phone off for a week with out the battery in and of course no charger, then try plugging a charger in that you know is working by testing on another phone.

If that doesn't work try it with the charger hooked up.

Sounds like the battery's dead. Goto your cell phone provider and ask for a battery to check and see if it works in your phone. If it does, then buy a new battery.
make sure that your charger is not bent, i had the samd roblem sometimes you just have to get a new charger or just get that one to position right so that it will charge the phone
Thats what my phone does when the battery is dead. perhaps it did not charge last night. see if the phone will turn on while connected to the charger. if so, the battery is dead or defective.
